Summer Festival at Peace Garden

Can t think of something to do this weekend When was the last time you were to the Peace Garden This would be a good time to go because officials there are hosting a special summer festival on Sunday Debbie Kuehn tells us about FAME What would happen if you gave God a paintbrush d say probably something like this Kathy McGhan International Peace Garden- The sun is starting to come and the plants have been in the garden for a little bit and they re really starting to pop and you can see the design And just everything is just full of color and all of that right now Here at the International Peace Garden splashes of brilliant color spring forth from a living canvass It s like strolling through a monumental masterpiece watercolors and all It s a sight that draws audiences from all over the world Kimberly Harris International Peace Garden- A coule of weeks ago we had a couple from India We get people from French and we get people from South Africa and Russia But this weekend visitors can enjoy more than a brush-stroked sky The Peace Garden is hosting the likes of Ballet Dancers and Opera singers for a summer festival called Fun Art Music Entertainment or FAME Kathy-We just wanted to do something fun and for the community and for people visiting and things like that We re excited to have it and I think the Internation Peace Garden is a great place to have it and a good setting for art and music and entertainment Amanda Abrahamson International Peace Garden-I like that I get to be outside a lot There s a lot to see and do People come to see the flowers but I love the buildings and just the whole aspect of what the Peace Garden represents And that s worth writing home about Debbie Kuehn KX The FAME summer festival is Sunday from noon to four
