Planting on time despite rain

The Agriculture Department says wet weather will require some North Dakota farmers to replant some crops when the fields dry out The latest crop report says farmers have made good planting progress despite cool wet weather The rainy weather slowed durum seeding which was 85 percent done by the end of last week Cool overnight temperatures caused some frost damage to pastures But the agency says the moisture has been beneficial to pastures Stock water supplies are rated at 87 percent adequate
